NOTICE OF PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION


At Prime Bank, we are committed to safeguarding customer information. Since your privacy is a priority to us, Prime Bank will not share nonpublic personal information about you with third parties without your consent, except as explained in our Privacy Policy. “Nonpublic personal information” is nonpublic information about you that we may obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. This includes information such as account balances, payment history and overdraft history.

Information Collected

Prime Bank collects the following categories of nonpublic personal information about you and your account activity: Information received from you on applications and other forms; Information about transactions with us (such as information about deposits, loan, or credit/debit card
account); and Information we received from consumer reporting agencies.

Confidentiality and Security of Nonpublic Personal Information

Prime Bank maintains the following policies and practices designed to protect the confidentiality and security of consumers’ nonpublic personal information:
  • We limit employee access to confidential customer financial information to those employees with a business reason for knowing such information.
  • Our employees are trained to understand the importance of customer financial privacy and to properly handle confidential information.
  • It is our policy that customer information is not to be provided to anyone over the telephone unless we can verify that you are the person requesting information on your own account or you have authorized us to release the requested information.
  • We endeavor to maintain the most accurate and up-to-date customer records possible. If you find that your account information is not correct, current, or complete, please call, or write to us at the telephone number or address on your account statement and appropriate corrections will be made as soon as possible.
  • If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Unaffiliated Third Parties

Prime Bank does not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
  • As required, we will share your personal information to comply with subpoenas or court orders, or to perform required reporting to the Internal Revenue Service for interest you paid or received on your loan or interest bearing account.
  • We routinely disclose information to credit reporting agencies regarding our experience with your history of payment transactions or your pay history on your loan with us.
  • We may disclose your personal information to a third party with your written consent, including the case where you have given someone your power of attorney or other written authorization to act on your behalf.
  • Even if you are no longer a customer of Prime Bank, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you.
